About

Hi I’m Gilda.

I’m Portuguese but have been living in London for many years.

I'm a graphic designer, creative and curious person. I love learning new skills and making things. I always have little projects in my life using my hands to compensate the time I pass in front of the screen while I'm working.

For a long time I had this desire to create a blog so I could share what I do, it happened that years passed and I never really started it.
I guess I was always waiting for the perfect idea, the perfect image, a good amount of little projects to share…and the list could go on…

I have a six and one year old daughters and I’ve been learning a lot! I realised that things can be done, one step at a time. Also how to be 'less' perfectionist and make things happen! This skill comes from my six year old when she asks my help to do these imaginative crazy projects. We go around the house to gather materials to upcycle and then we start to cut, glue and put things together very quickly and usually the end result is very positive and I often listen 'This is exactly what I was imagining, thank you' and off she goes to play for some time.

I’m still trying to move away from endless ‘To Do’ lists and start with smaller things, do one, start another.

I will be sharing some of the things I love doing such as sewing, knitting, crochet, cooking, Upcycle,  diy and I’ll do it “as I go!”

The products I sell here are entirely made by myself and I love making them, I'm glad we don't have a TV and that's how I relax.
